...delegitimized Republican wins in 2000, 2004 and 2016. So, that's ~50% of the country right there that may not trust the 2024 results depending on how it goes. Dems have already committed to the premise that Trump is an illegitimate candidate, so any hypothetical Trump win would would be dead on arrival by definition.

That aside, if you want the right to trust election outcomes, then you need to push for three things:

1) Obey and enforce election law
2) Ban integrity-crushing "voting" methods, such as ballot-harvesting, among others
3) Cease ongoing efforts to rig the election via lawfare (and other means) against your leading opponent

These three requirements were notably absent in 2020, which is why no objective person trusts that result. If you plan on proceeding with the same in 2024, then don't expect people to trust 2024 results either. If that's the case, then I hope you'll have the good sense not to complain about it either. After all, you broke it -- you bought it.
